Double Team Challenge at TTPH Challenges

Hi All, it's another Double Team Challenge over at TTPH
and This week we are sponsored by stitchy bear stamps and floppy latte designs
TEAM A
Prize $10 worth of Digi stamps
TEAM B
Prize $6 coupon

The Theme is Anything Goes

Here is what I made

This was a really fun image to work with so I decided I wanted to put it on to a card that was a little bit different to your standard card so I made a Joy fold Card

The basic card is made from a single A4 sheet cut in half to give you 2 A5 pieces of card, the first fold is scored at A5 on cardmaking score board and the second fold is a standard A6 card trimmed to 10.5 cm to give you a square. I then matted and layered with Red and patterned card each 1/2 cm smaller then the previous. The card was finished with a snow flake die cut and Blitter, 3 smaller Blitters and a tag on a peg which acts as a holder to close the card.

The image was coloured with Promarkers in Grey scale using cool grey 1-5 all over (except for white areas) and his coat and hat Berry red by using the Grey tones under the Red it gives the effect of light and shade without using various red shades, this technique is a really effective way to get depth in your colouring even if your colour options are limited. On his beard and gloves etc I used cool grey 1 & 2 to create some shade.
Thanks for stopping by to day and please visit TTPH and check out the fab creations from all the DT members you can even vote for your favourite!!
Looking forward to seeing all your beautiful entries in the challenge
Until next time
Nicola :)
